So, as many people know, I have a really bad back. I have scoliosis and had surgery about 10 years ago. They attached some rods to my spine to try and straighten it. It's not a big deal, but if I'm not careful, it hurts. Today I wasn't careful and my lower back hurts like stink. Makes it hard to do Kung-Fu.
This is where the whole patience and progressing wisely thing comes in. I should have been more careful. Bah! The pushups have been helping though (not right now, but in general). They've been strengthening my back muscles which is good. But when I first started doing them it was a strain for sure.
Time to go lay down I think.
Pain sucks.....hello Ibuprofen!
Today I consumed: a piece of peanut butter toast with honey, half a meat and cheese sandwich, a ham and cheese tea biscuit, some biscuit casserole, 2 cups of coffee, an english toffee coffee from time and 4 glasses of water.
